Harken back to an older time when life was cheap. Death… near. Crawling through the bowels of a dungeon, 10ft at a time. Long forgotten tools were essential for survival: 50ft of rope, a 10ft pole, torches, rations, and the hireling torchbearer who will usually take the brunt of the waiting traps.

This is where you will find our adventurers. Level 1, guildless, and dreams of making it in the largest city on the continent - a city where adventuring is as much a career path as any other. How will they stand out? Will they even survive? Will they live long enough to become heroes, much less be remembered?

Let me tell you a tale of HIGH adventure…

So often, a fantasy setting takes place in what is essentually a post-apocolyptic future, as the setting sits in the ruins of once great civilizations, with lost magic, lost lore… from a time when things were greater, and more powerful. Imagine playing in a setting before the fall of those times. Living amonst the great cities, surrounded by great power and even greater hubris. This is where our adventurers begin their harrowing journey. What will they find? What will they accomplish? Will they make their world a better place, or join in it's self-destructive nature? Only our players can decide that. However, just know that the gods of this world watch very closely...
Forgotten Krynn is a massive sandbox game set in the metropolis citystate of Waterdeep, which sits above the megadungeon, Undermountain. Unlike the Waterdeep most know, this city resides on the continent of Ansalon, on the world of Krynn, during the Age of Might. The people of Waterdeep share a continent with the floating cities of Netheril, north of the forgotten shore of Red Steel. Our brave adventurers must make their way in a world with many dangers, first among them is an industry that relies on professional adventurers who delve into Undermountain.

This vintage style game uses the classic Thac0 (To-Hit Armor Class 0) system made famous by pre-3rd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, but Forgotten Krynn's AD&D system has been merged with Hackmaster's Thac0-based 4th edition ruleset (a parody of original AD&D), creating a system that is both familiar to the old guard, and wholly unique.
Our channel focuses on older formats of games, breathing new life into them with a new way of using them that could have never been realized at the time - giving the nostalgic feel many felt when watching the kids of E.T. or Stranger Things play, with an esence that has never been seen before.

There is a lot that is going into developing all the different elements into a cohesive and streamlined world that is so different but still makes sense from a lore and mechanics perspective. Our goal is to only rely on officially developed material, but combined together in a way that might almost seem like home-brew. This is a form we refer to as kit-bashing, since it's not really home-brew as all modifications are from officially licensed material, not our own designs. In an era where home-brew is almost more common than core rules games, returning to basics in a different way almost seems revolutionary.
